May 31st- Blood Donor Clinic
The Spruce Grove Trileisure Centre is hosting the Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinic on Friday between 2: 30 pm - 7: 30 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can book an appointment here. For more information click here.
June 6th- Postpartum Depression Support
This is an amazing recurring group for all Moms experiencing PP Depression. You will have a chance to take a break and relate to women going through similar struggles. Childcare is available. If you or someone you know is experiencing PP Depression, click here to inquire.
June 25th- Health for Two
This program is for expecting women looking for information or need support in carrying out a healthy pregnancy. This is an awesome outlet to learn what effects you may have on your baby during and after pregnancy regarding health. You can attend this program up to one year postpartum. Family Fun
June 3rd- Baby Sign
Starting at 10:30 am, you can join in with other parents in teaching their baby sign language to better understand your child's needs. For more information click here. Pre-registration is required. Ages 0-12 months.
June 4th- Busy Bodies
Bring your littles ages 0-6 for the Busy Bodies playgroup. This is a 2-hour drop-in group with gross motor games and activities to tucker your kids out. Click here for details.
June 4th- Parent & Tot Drop-in
This is a great opportunity to meet other parents and kids to mingle with, in our community. Can't make this date? No problem. This is a recurring drop-in event hosted several times throughout the week. Click here for more details or other dates.
June 5th- Young Moms
For all mothers under the age of 25, whether you are expecting or parenting this group is for support and education on becoming a parent, the challenges & joys of parenting, and creating a safe and casual environment for young mothers to socialize. June 6th- Outdoor Adventures
This is a drop in playgroup for children ages 0-6 and their parents. Join in on an opportunity to get outside and get active with your kids while socializing. Be sure to dress for the weather as this is a recurring event and takes place wind, rain, snow or shine. Click here for more information.
June 7th- Parents Friday Morning Coffee
Socialize with other parents over a morning cup of coffee while your kids get to play in a relaxed environment. This is a recurring event so click here for details and other dates.
June 14-15th- Mine Rescue Competition
This is a Free Admission event held by the Alberta Mine Safety Association @ the Spruce Grove Trileisure from 7:00am - 4:00pm. The public is encouraged to come and watch mine rescue teams from all across Alberta compete in different events throughout the day. Click here for more information!
Seniors
June 4th- Senior Strawberry Tea
All seniors are welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon or entertainment and refreshments at the Pioneer Centre. For more information call (780) 962-5020.
June 4th- Seniors Coffee Afternoon
This is a recurring event, Tuesdays from 1-3pm. Bring a friend and enjoy socializing in a relaxed environment giving you the chance to mingle with other seniors in the community. Refreshments provided, transportation may be arranged. This event is hosted by the FCSS of Spruce Grove and is free (donations accepted). Click here for more information.

June 7th- Try-Me-Athlon
This is a school-based activity for kids ages 5+. The Try-Athlon will encourage students to learn new physical skills and gain confidence in physical education. This is a customized event that welcomes kids of all stages in their physical activity to improve. This event begins at 9:30 am and will last the majority of the day. June 12th- Crafternoon
A fun creative environment for your littles between ages 3-5 to socialize and learn. Parents attendance and registration is required. Click here to inquire.
This goes to show there is always something to do in the grove or stony plain. Seeing all the different resources and activities to do each week makes me so proud to be a part of such an active community. This is the perfect excuse to spend time with loved ones and get outside!
